The Women’s Advocacy Council in Barrie has partnered with BDO to offer a free, 2-part financial wellness series. These interactive workshops are timely for all high school students; most particularly, those considering post-secondary plans where money management skills are important. Participants will learn about budgeting, saving, credit and borrowing, fraud awareness, taxes and insurance. Each participant will receive a digital, financial wellness workbook to keep as an on-going reference. Sessions are set for May 4th and May 11th from 5:00-6:30 pm and registration is required.
